OPPO F9 Pro review:
As per a Reddit user, the F9 Pro update will also bring in a new AR stickers feature. It will include the ability to play AR games and even create your own. The user also posted that the upcoming phone will have a "screen space indicator" that indicates that the phone has been in standby mode for a while and when you pick it up, the display is ready for use.
In another tweet, the same user from OPPO India's Twitter handle was spotted reviewing the F9 Pro, this is where it is mentioned that this device will receive an update on July 9. It is not clear if the update will include the OPPO F9 Pro or any other OPPO device. This suggests that we may soon see the update roll-out to OPPO F9 as well.
In its official forum, OPPO claims that the update is a normal software upgrade that will bring in several optimizations and improvements to enhance the overall user experience. However, the company has not mentioned any detailed changelog apart from the "new security patch level", which suggests that the company may have included several patches from its in-house OPPO Identity Security Engine.

The OPPO F9 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. There is an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.8 percent. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo topped with ColorOS 5.2 and is backed by a 3,500mAh battery. It features dual cameras – 16MP + 5MP with an LED flash module. On the front, the device sports a 16MP camera for selfies. The F9 Pro comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
The latest phone from OPPO comes with a 16MP AI selfie shooter, which the company claims to offer AI Beauty 2.0 that can analyse 22 different facial landmarks and identify the type of scene that the user is trying to capture. The F9 Pro also has a 24MP camera on the rear with an LED flash module for better low-light shots.
